I am 32 and now live in Rhode Island once again. I have been tattooing for 11 years and gained an interest in the art form at an early age by going to punk and hardcore shows. Tattoos were a strong part of that culture and now I have advanced to who I am today. I use to write graffiti and wanted at one point to be a comic book artist, which explains the earlier part of my style. I've never had a true apprenticeship and my start was rather crude. The owner of the shop had me doing his drawing orders and teach him how to draw and he told me which machines to buy, set them up and told me to make a tattoo. I feel that I am just starting to cut the mold of who I am. I owe what I know to friends that I met along the way and various books and am truly in debt to friends William Thiedman and Jess Yen. Along with tattooing, I also paint and express myself through all different types of mediums. I've also been known to take on a few digital projects.

Aside from tattooing and painting, I used to focus on my music projects, which will soon be downloadable from the site. Advocate was such a project but is now laid to rest, as with all full time music efforts. I'm not interested in being a jack of all trades, you all know how that saying ends and I find it very true. I travel often and love doing guest artist spots so if you are interested in my work, let me know since I may be in your area soon.

2010

New T-shirts will soon be available.
The shirt is from a painting of mine entitled "Loyalty is my shield, Honor is my Crown".

Sooner than later we will be opening an odds and ends art store within The Hive. This will include books from other artists from all over, hard to find paints, a full line of animal sculls (real) for artists from rats to bats to bear, different types of wood to paint on, as well as other bazaar canvases and a variety of other related things.
------------------------------------------------------------------
The Hive will be attending the "Live Free Or Die" tattoo convention in New Hampshire, The Providence Art Fair, Hell City Convention in Phoenix, AZ and also a slew of other art and tattoo related subjects.

2005 - Spring update-
The Heart Shaped Bombs-

My new band featuring former members of Advocate/What feeds the fire/Roswell/Before I Break and Zillionare played our first few shows. Here is a review of one of those shows:

"This was a cherry popping night for locals Heart Shaped Bomb. (I'm loving that name by the way.) You definitely wouldn't know this was their first gig. There's something incredibly English about them, the singer looked kind of Noel Gallagher-esque in his aviator shades, posing over the mic stand with a tambourine slapping against his thigh. At one point his studded belt fell off and I saw his bum crach...tee hee hee! The bassist plays a Rickenbacker which gives him extra brownie points. Their songs were a nice combination of loud and heavy, yet melodic Rock N' Roll, with enough genre crossovers to please the NME someday. I Think this band will get pretty big...catch them now while you can You could be one of those annoying people who claims you knew about them before everybody else did.

The band sound in my ears is traditional Rock N' Roll with influences from Guns N' Roses to bands like The Beatles and The Who.
We have plans of recording our demo to shop around to some labels and get things rolling. For more info email me at templedesignhq@yahoo.com. Or stop by our next show on June 3rd at The Call in Providence RI with Victory Record's Seamless.
I will be traveling this summer, definite plans are still being worked out concerning some of the locations I will be visiting. Denver CO is on my itinerary for early August. I will also be visiting some of the summer's tattoo conventions. If interested in having me guest in your town or shop, please drop me an email at templedesignhq@yahoo.com.
New pictures of tattoos and artwork are always being added so keep checking back.
